Halton Baptist Youth Club - Hastings


Halton Baptist Youth Club aim to provide a safe setting where young people meet, socialise and have fun and through the friendships made encourage them to explore their faith.

What time:
Thursdays 7.00 - 8.45pm for years 7 & 8
Thursdays 7.00 – 9.30 pm for years 9, 10 & 11
(Term times only)

How much:
Only 50p per week

What goes on:
Youth club has access to several areas.

The hall is large enough to play 5 a side football, basketball, unihock, volleyball, badminton and a variety of other team games.

The church is cleared of seats and filled with the following equipment: Pool table, Snooker table, Air Hockey table, Table football, Table Tennis, Play station with dance mats and assorted games (which can be projected onto a cinema size video screen), computer, karaoke, music.

The lounge is used for a variety of activities including board games; make up evenings, dance, etc.

The Chill Out room is an area for chat and music, a place to relax with friends.

The kitchen is the hub of activities where most people congregate to buy tuck and drinks.

What else goes on:


During the year the youth club organises a variety of activities including canoeing, Ten pin bowling, chip shop survey, sleepover, crazy golf, treasure hunts, wide games, quizzes and, competitions. We have organised summer camps, rock climbing, mountain biking, and trips to concerts and theme parks with a trip to Thorpe Park planed for this year.

Some Rules :

  • No swearing.
  • No damaging equipment or property.
  • No eating or drinking in the church.
  • You follow all instructions given by a leader.
  • If you leave site you will not be re-admitted and parents may be told of your early departure.

About Us :
Halton Baptist Youth Club is an independent organisation within Halton Baptist Church and holds it’s own accounts and rules.

Halton Baptist Church act as overseers to the club and ensure that the club is properly and effectively managed. The church has overall responsibility to ensure all leaders working with the club have been vetted to work with young people and operate within the church’s “Safe to Grow Policy” relating to working with young people.

The club is open to any young person to attend regardless of their gender, faith or race, they do not have to attend the church or be linked to it in any way.
