Youth...

When this area is up and running the content will be created and maintained by our young people, but until they get their hands on it I get the chance to tell you what we get up to at Halton Baptist Church.

Sunday Morning

Our activities on Sunday mornings cater for a variety of ages. We have creche for 0-3s, Xstreme for 4-10s and Grid for our senior school age group. Sessions always include a great mixture of Bible teaching, craft, drama, games and plenty of chat and laughter!

"Do Something Sunday!"

On the first Sunday of every month, "normal" sunday school gets turned on its head. All ages come together and get the chance to try a whole load of activites that can be used to express their faith. Whether its art, dance, drama, jamming with musical instruments like bass guitar and drums, or getting your hands on some laptops and trying audio visual projects and stop-motion animation. Whatever your passion, you can bring it to Do Something Sunday! (Plus there is always a healthy dose of hot chocolate with whipped cream and marshmallows! yum)

It is so much more than "Sunday School"! At least it's not like you would imagine Sunday School to be. On the first week of each month we turn the whole back end of the church into Dance Studios, Drama Workshops, a Music studio and we get the laptops out and design web pages, audio visual presentations all sorts of creative stuff goes on.You can do it all, if you like.

Youth Cells

We have two Youth Cells, which are small groups specially set up for yong people to to discover what they want to know about living out their faith. For further details please just ask our minister Matt Carter one Sunday.

Youth Club

We have the Thursday Youth Club, which is an open club for anyone of secondary school age. To find out more details go to our seperate Youth Cub page.
